Anyone see the new Tricer X1/X2 inverted tripods?

Tricer is the 2nd company i've seen offer these inverted leg tripods. For the life of me i can't figure out why the market is asking for it

This is the first potentially ligt weight 3 section I have seen. Most inverted are large 2 section but there is another 3 section out there but it is over 5lbs without a head.

Inverted gets the locks out if the snow and mud and is easier to adjust from up top while deploying largest sections first. On a standard tripod if you deploy the largest sections first for stability, the smallest sections are down at your feet the furthest from your hands and the widest apart.

So increased speed, increased reliability of locks and increased stability…so Im told. If Tricer pulls this off at a hunting weight I will want to get one to try. The octagon legs with round twist locks seems weird to me though. Definitely want to learn more about it.

The locks and adjustment seem great when it comes to an inverted leg tripod.

I question the stability being greater. I understand that the stability of the tripod itself will be greater with a lower center of gravity from falling over, etc. I guess I question whether the spotter, camera or rifle would be more stable from shake where it seems it would benefit from more weight being in the center of the tripod.

I’d love to see the specs on these. Overall height of both the two-piece and three-piece and compacted length.

Interesting he’s going with the hex legs instead of round.

Are they supposed to be stronger for the same weight? Or is it to be different? I like the option to add weight to the tripod.

I also see he’s making an Anvil knockoff. Leofoto quit selling theirs on their site. So I’m assuming RRS got on them. Wonder if the Tricer is different enough or if RRS will be knocking on his door also.

Hex legs can be a bit stiffer

They are cleaner and faster.

I played with one and darn skippy.. Soooo fast. I guess I was just so used to how a tripod always just was instead of looking a bit harder on this..... I didn't have time to wait for Tricer to come out with one, so I bought a 2 Vets Inverted Recon.. Its pretty sweet. xtremely stable. Like stable enough that I'd take 600 yard shots with this thing. I'd be tempted to buy a tricer X1 when they come available and sell my 2 vets to a friend of mine

I was hoping for 3-4 pounds all in but this is5.3 without head. Might be nice for competition setting but I had higher hopes for this tech to come to a hunting tripod from a brand like Tricer.
