Tricer is the 2nd company i've seen offer these inverted leg tripods. For the life of me i can't figure out why the market is asking for it

This is the first potentially ligt weight 3 section I have seen. Most inverted are large 2 section but there is another 3 section out there but it is over 5lbs without a head.

Inverted gets the locks out if the snow and mud and is easier to adjust from up top while deploying largest sections first. On a standard tripod if you deploy the largest sections first for stability, the smallest sections are down at your feet the furthest from your hands and the widest apart.

So increased speed, increased reliability of locks and increased stability…so Im told. If Tricer pulls this off at a hunting weight I will want to get one to try. The octagon legs with round twist locks seems weird to me though. Definitely want to learn more about it.

The locks and adjustment seem great when it comes to an inverted leg tripod.

I question the stability being greater. I understand that the stability of the tripod itself will be greater with a lower center of gravity from falling over, etc. I guess I question whether the spotter, camera or rifle would be more stable from shake where it seems it would benefit from more weight being in the center of the tripod.
