Anyone running fixed power scopes?

What’s your expected engagement distance? 6.5 creed is easy, plentiful and in stock form. 6 creed or 22 creed are great - but not readily available in a tikka without the extra steps.

For southern white tail I’m using a 223. Out west I’m using a 22 creed.

I have a Tikka .243 shooting 80gr TTSX for deer that is a laser. It’s a bit light for elk, but might could find some factory loaded nosler partitions.

6 Creed sounds great and I need to read up on it.

Also shoot Black Hills with TTSX and SMKs in .223, and have a 6.5 Grendel for deer/hogs.

Depending on your twist you could buy ammo from Copper creek to shoot heavier bullets. Or shoot 95 grain nosler ballistic tip (winchesfer sells factory version). Not as good as the newer 6mm line but kills under 500. 6 creed just has better twist to shoot longer bullets.

Running Kahles 4x36, 7x50 & Swaro 6x36 on my 22 RFs and Swaro 6x42s on a 243 and 6.5x55. Plenty good for hunting in the northeastern part of the country. I don't need to move the dials, just work off the reticle subtensions.
