Anyone running a Weatherby 307 Alpine CT?

The new-ish Weatherby 307 Alpine CT intrigues me. It appears to be a pretty solid selection of components for the street price but I haven’t found any “real-world” reviews.
Any Roksliders putting one through the paces yet??

This is the rifle I’m looking at as well. I’d love to see some honest feedback on it other than the stuff put out by Weatherby or Eastmans. Both of which seem to be an atta boy commercial.

+1 on this. One of these in 6.5 PRC could be a solid base for a sheep rig I'm putting together if they're well executed. Vert grip stock and Triggertech are nice.

Anyone have firsthand experience with BSF barrels? Different manufacture process than Proof or Bartlein apparently

BSF is also the provider for the Springfield Waypoint barrel I believe. I went ahead and ordered one of these in 7prc and will update here once I get it in hand.

Yep heard that. Dudes seem to love their Waypoints. Looking forward to updates!

Mine came in today. Leupold MK4 4.5-18 will be here tomorrow. I’ll get the optic mounted and throw some factory ammo through it before the weekend and report back.

I picked up mine last week… fit and finish is good with the exception that I had to use a brush to remove cerakote powder from the muzzle and inside the brake in order to install the brake. It was thick enough to prevent threading otherwise.
Bolt is exceptionally smooth and trigger adjusted nicely down to 2#. Mine is 8# on the button with the brake on, Hawkins ultralight rings, and a Trijicon Tenmile 4-24x50. Sadly, work means I won’t get to shoot it until the weekend.
*pic shows it next to a Savage Ultralight in 6.5prc with a stockys VG2

I've been trying to find some good, unbiased reviews as well but may just have to bite the bullet and order one. I've got it narrowed down to the 307 CT, Browning X-bolt 2 Speed Carbon and the Waypoint in 7PRC. Leaning toward the 307...

So I finally got out today to run a few rounds through the 307. I shot three boxes of 165gr Norma Bondstrike and one box of the 175 Federal eld-x load. It definitely likes the Federal better but I can’t say it was a good shooting day for me. (Sick and on cold meds.)
The rifle handles really well and is a pussy cat to shoot in 7mm PRC. Recoil impulse is really flat with little to no muzzle flip. Overall, I am very pleased and look forward to continuing to work out what it likes best.
The two shots on the right were getting the scope dialed in. Top three rounds are Norma and bottom five rounds are Federal.

I ran ten rounds through as fast as I could and yanked two flyers but strung it out horizontally. (Purely my fault and not the gun.) I’m really pleased with the rifle and zero regrets with the choice… it is a lot of gun for under $1800!

Mostly curious about the Peak 44 stock... I'd rather have a Mk5 than a 307 for personal reasons, but the collaboration with someone to offer a better choice than their legacy stocks is intriguing.

Of course everyone has preferences but I absolutely love the stock! Rides a bag really well and recoil impulse is exceptionally controlled. I like it enough to buy another caliber👍

I sure appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you think of the rifle. Do you mind sharing where you found one for $1,800? Everywhere I’m looking they’re around $2,050.

It may be nit-picking but I decided the bolt knob was too small. I used the heat gun to break the picture and, good news, bolt is standard threaded. I screwed on a lumley cf bolt knob and like the increased size for easier cycling.
