Playing around with my Leica optics. Which many prefer over Swarovski because of its richer saturated colors. But comparing the Leica to the Nikon EDG, the colors are even warmer and bolder in the Nikon.

I just wonder why the Leica fanboys don’t give credit to Nikon since they play on the same team but even more so

Very subjective. No right or wrong answer.
Main qualities I look for: clarity and light transmission.

Regarding Nikon its because Nikon is abandoning riflescopes. They have lost my support.

Yes, their binocs are excellent. I have an older set of 10X42 Premier LXL and a set of 10X42 Premier SE. The SE's will compete with the best of today, but they aren't waterproof.

Now, the rest is how your eyes work. I find Swaro EL's to be slightly blue/cold. Ultravids and SLC's look neutral to warm and are about perfect for me. The Nikon SE's above are very color accurate for me and the LXL's are warm. My older B&L Elite 10X42's are accurate, and my really old Zeiss Jena Jenoptem 10X50W have a slight yellow tint.

I'd have to agree. I've had a lot of Nikon products over the years including bino's, rangefinders, and scopes, but I'd be hard for me to give any more money to a company that is afraid to support hunting.
