Sky Rover Banner Cloud 10x42 binocular review

I bought a pair of 10x42 SRBC and tried them out for the first time today. Way better than my Razor HDs as far as glare in the early hours. Very clear image. They did require much more focusing than I am used to with the Razors. Any change in distance glassing and I had to adjust the focus.
I've heard the glass is great. They're alot heavier too aren't they?

Put the skyrovers(12×50s) next to my buddies swaro NL pures(14×52). Didn't glass until dark but all day and later into the day looking strait into the sun and the swaros didnt seem any better at any point. SRBCs also had bigger FOV, but I guess that's expected with them being smaller magnification. Pretty happy with my purchase thus far.

These are very interesting. I have a pair of 2005 Swaro SLC 16 x 56 right now. Pretty solid. I can't see perfect because of astigmatism so I am always chasing the sharper when I might not get it, ever. I hate glasses with binos do I am on off on off on off forever. Oof

Has anybody had a chance to compare the older models that came with 48 mm eyecups to the newer models that come with the 44 mm eyecups. I hear that the newer models have more improvements than just the eyecups. Looking on ebay you can get the old model for a couple hundred less than the new models.

On their website it shows all the Banner Clouds are sold out. That’s odd.
Astronomics out of *I think* Oklahoma is where I bought both of mine. They’ve got them in stock, and no China shipping/fees to deal with.

Would definitely recommend going through Astronomics. Since they're getting wholesale/dealer prices, it makes the sting of the tariffs and shipping much less.

I purchased mine from Astronomics. Shipping was immediate (received the same week, shipped to CA). The eyecups definitely seem like an issue to me as I just don't feel like they are fitting to my face well. I reached out to Sky Rover directly for the 44mm eyecups and they instructed me to go through Astronomics. I hit up Astronomics and a set of 44mm eyecups are on their way to me FREE!! Great experience and customer service so far.

Sitting here with 3 SRBC binos, I will refrain from ordering that 7.5x32. I will refrain....

Has anyone compared the Sky Rover Banner Cloud 12x50 to the GPO Passion HD 12.5 or the Tract Toric 12.5? I am really considering making a deal to buy one, but could also do the Tract for a bit less or the GPO for a touch more.

Well. I just ordered the 8x42. Guess we will see how they look when they get here. Hopefully they’re better than the kowas that are on sale for $100 less than these.

Iv had the 12x50s for a few months now and just got back from a spring bear hunt and had them side by side with a pair of swaro 12x42 nl pures and they are very impressive especially for the price. I will say the NLs are better there is no way around that but not by a lot and if you were not looking at them side by side it would be hard to even tell. Overall if money is no issue and you want the best bino out there then NLs all day but for 1/5th the price and i would say 85%-90% as good the SRBCs are unreal.
