Looking for an audio book to listen to for the next road trip to the turkey woods.

anyone listened to “the mountain men” meateater audiobook? Worth $13?
I enjoyed the content of the long hunter book.

Yes it’s a great book. I highly recommend.
If you have Spotify premium then it’s included with your subscription. I think there are a few other audio streaming platforms it’s included with as well, so check there before you spend the money.

Getting most of the Steve Rinella audiobooks for free on Spotify Premium is something I wish i realized before I bought them. Mountain Men is a good listen as well, lots of cool info.

I liked that book, I also enjoyed American Buffalo.

Just a thought, but I listen to a lot of audio books on the Libby app. This is linked to my library card, so these are all free books to listen to. Not all the audio versions of books I want to listen to are available on this app, so I sometimes use Spotify or buy them on Audible, but I always check Libby too. You can even download them for use while out of cell service.

Hope you enjoy the book if you decide to check it out!

Free on Spotify as mentioned, but even you had to pay the $13 I’d still say it’s worth it. I thought it was great.

I liked the Long Hunters as well, but thought Mountain Men was better.

Got it. I’m only a few chapters in so far but I can already say it’s worth it. But my favorite movie growing up was Jeremiah Johnson….

Maybe it’s cause I’m from the ozarks. But lord does rinella talk to fast.
It needs a .9 listening speed to “only slightly” southern-ify Steve.

I haven't listened to the mountain men to completion yet, but I really enjoyed the long hunters. It was actually my first audiobook.
