Chiming back in. Minivan is highly spacious... However their ground clearance is barely better than my prius. No joke, my wife hit a deer with her odyssey; got it fixed, a week later the bumper was forked again because she was driving down a dirt road. I was fairly pissed about that

We've now moved into a subaru Ascent. It'll move 7 passengers but not as comfortably as a minivan.

That was a question I had on my “list.”
She told me “all of my kids will be able to fit on a bench seat so why would I want a minivan?”

I have a 2010 with 175k. It's been a great vehicle. And it is pretty simple to work on yourself. Just did sway bar bushing, sway bar link, rotors, pads, and struts. If I was more organized I bet it would have been a 3 hour project....took me 5 hours.

We just bought a 24 sport since the 3rd kid is on the way. 4Runner is to small for 3 car seats and my Cummins is louder then a dump truck. Actually just sold the Cummins yesterday so I’m rocking the mini van till I pick up a new tundra.
