I just use an open ended generic and it works pretty well. Either way the draw is extended obviously.
I have the same setup with the FN 502. I absolutely love that combo. Not a great pic but we were moving fast.
It's a shooter. I killed my cow early this year so hiking with my wife I ended up just stuffing that whole thing across my bino harness (not chambered of course) and shot a couple more grouse with it while we tried getting her a bull. Sitting down with that suppressor on and pistol in a holster was not terribly comfortable and kept dragging it on brush, in the bino harness straps it worked out much better.I have the same setup with the FN 502. I absolutely love that combo.
Keep the barrel at 4-1/2" or shorted and you can keep CCI mini mags subsonic. I carry a cut down MKII and have killed a lot of coyotes, coons, possums, and skunks with it suppressed while bow hunting. It's great for finishers on coyotes at night too.I’m looking to put together something for next season that I can carry while I’m deer hunting that won’t scare everything out of the county. A suppressed 22 with subsonics and a red dot would be perfect IMO.
Those look cool, even the coon is checking them out lol. Nice pics.new grips on the buckmark.

Any reason, aside from simplification, for going back to iron sites?I have recently simplified mine. I took the red dot off and went back to the iron sites.
New grips on my mkiv, made from a piece of turkish walnut left over from another project. First grips Ive made, will let the finish cure for a few weeks then checker.

Eh, walnut without checkering is like cake without icing. I promise that smoke wont go anywhere!mac, don't you dare ruin those beautiful slabs by carving a bunch of fugly checkers on them.....grin
