Anyone have a tricked out .22 pistol they hunt squirrels with.

Desert Tech Trek-22 is a great way to make a bullpup backpack rifle from a standard 10/22 rifle.

I have the same setup with the FN 502. I absolutely love that combo.
It's a shooter. I killed my cow early this year so hiking with my wife I ended up just stuffing that whole thing across my bino harness (not chambered of course) and shot a couple more grouse with it while we tried getting her a bull. Sitting down with that suppressor on and pistol in a holster was not terribly comfortable and kept dragging it on brush, in the bino harness straps it worked out much better.

I’m looking to put together something for next season that I can carry while I’m deer hunting that won’t scare everything out of the county. A suppressed 22 with subsonics and a red dot would be perfect IMO.
Keep the barrel at 4-1/2" or shorted and you can keep CCI mini mags subsonic. I carry a cut down MKII and have killed a lot of coyotes, coons, possums, and skunks with it suppressed while bow hunting. It's great for finishers on coyotes at night too.

This is one coyote that got too close while bow hunting. I carry it in a custom made cordura holster that has a flap that completely encloses the handgun and has a place for an extra magazine. The guy is on Sniper's Hide and goes by @softcock.091.JPG092.JPG
