Anyone have a tricked out .22 pistol they hunt squirrels with.

I put a leupold 1x4 pig scope on mine and shot off sand bags to see how well it shot. With cci standard velocity I was really impressed. Quarter inch groups at 25 yards.

Black Dog Machine makes a great holster for the Rugers that will accommodate some suppressors and the longer barrels as well.

Outstanding. I shot some groups testing ammo today. Keep in mind these are just from a Mark IV Lite with a red dot.

*fixed a loose mount, disregard these ones*

Came back out with secured mount, and using front rest.

CCI Standard Velocity has the best grouping so far for me. 10-shot group at 24 yards at 0.715", 2.86 MOA.

I have a Ruger 10-22 takedown that is great for throwing in the pack during scouting trips. easy to take out and assemble but you have to be careful where you hold your front hand bc that tension can change your zero

Funny, I just picked up a brand new 1993 Browning Buckmark standard 5 1/2" bbl. Still in factory plastic box and wax paper. Been someone's closet queen. Thought it would make a good Aberts gun.

I put a $70 truglo on the 10 inch ruger mk iv today and zeroed with cci std vel. All the 2 shot groups were less than a quarter inch and then shot a 12 shot group that came out 9/16s.at 25 yards. I'm pretty sure it will shoot a good deal better than I can.

Those with Tandemkross parts on their 22/45's, any thoughts on doing their trigger job vs buying the Kraken complete frame?

Y'all just spent my money today!

If you have a spare upper and need a lower, the Kraken is the way to go. If you already have a complete gun, the trigger and thumb ledge safety are all that’s needed.

Now if the plan is to run matches, get the Kraken as it also adds a bit of weight which is nice.

I was starting with nothing, but if I was going to trick something out I'd almost rather start with the tricked out parts than buy a full gun and replace parts. This is going to be fun!

This VQ is my latest...
