I would think it would be fine.Think it would do well with a mk 1 with 7" iron sight on front and not get snagged up?

Did you get the barrel chopped and threaded or is this an aftermarket barrel? Super cool setup!I just built this for plinking/grouse. Need a shorter fatter can for it tho
Thanks! It's a stock upper that I got from a local smith McCluskey Arms in Eugene OR. He chopped it himself, I think it's something he regularly stocksDid you get the barrel chopped and threaded or is this an aftermarket barrel? Super cool setup!
How are you liking the fn502? Im torn between getting something like that or a 22/45 lite or tacticalY'all made me buy this. I'll likely slap a Holosun on it but haven't decided which one. The plan is for the wife to carry it and take out Grouse while I'm Elk hunting. Trigger is surprisingly good..
Pretty good so far. I got a Holosun for my birthday and slapped it on and got after it. The trigger is surprisingly good as well, much better than the Ruger tactical when I dry fired them side by side (with permission) at the gun shop. I wasn't able to shoot the Ruger with live ammo though. The 502 is deceivingly light, doesn't look like it but when you pick it up it's surprising. I never shot it unsuppressed now that I think about it, but we shot subs and supers both suppressed without any issues. How are you liking the fn502? With a pistol?? Damn!I have a Ruger 22/45 that I like a lot, but lately, the Ruger 5.7 has been getting most of my attention. A buddy smashed a coyote at 136 yards with his.
Yes sir, I just went and checked back and it was actually 143 yards. The 5.7x28 only drops 4.8 inches at 125 yards. With a pistol?? Damn!
