Here's a no-shitter. Two years ago my buddy and I were driving down the road heading to camp at night when we spotted some cows and calves. Some split but about four still remained near edge of road. My buddy did a lost calf call and it freaked out one of the youngsters. It ran in front and around my truck as he kept doing it and it tried to jump in the back of the bed. After a loud thump I told him to knock it off. We were laughing so hard it hurt. Truck still has a small dent where she hit the side. I'm juts glad there was a witness.
Saw this vid for the first time about a week ago. I have had it happen with whitetail (close enough to take one with a knife or spear) but not elk. On a side note, Roe Hunting Resources (the guys who produced the vid) offer some extremely high quality videos, they are a pleasure to watch.
