Anyone going to 2014 Western Hunt Expo

Is anyone considering going to the Hunt Expo this year?

Yeah I went to the one in 2013 at the Denver Show it was great. I plan to go again this year.

It looks like a good expo. I just refuse to go when they are sponsored by Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife. Any organization who takes tags out of the pool and sells them to the highest bidder and are not transparent with where the money goes doesn't get my support.

There is one in Denver and one is Salt Lake City, which is most likely the one I would attend.

There is the Western Hunting one the KUIU first asked about thats in SLC. Put on by SFW and MDF (http://www.huntexpo.com/)
The other one, ISE (http://www.sportsexpos.com/) is at a handful of locations across the west.
They are both neat to see in terms of gear and taxidermy etc...
I haven't decided whether to attend or not as I share sslingers thoughts.

I finally gave in last year and justified it as the only way to get an elk tag since I'm on my waiting period. It made me feel terrible when I got there for giving up my moral standards. I'll be keeping my money this year and sharing it only with organizations that are open with how they use the money that's raised from the pilfering of tags from Utah sportsman

This show does have decent raffle odds for non residents because you have to attend to enter. You can see how many applications where entered last year on the their website. I don't be grudge any one that attends its the politics in the way Utah manages its system I don't agree with

Yes, I believe we are talking about two different ones. I was reffering more towards the (http://www.huntexpo.com/) that is held in SLC FEB 13th- 16th

I wont for the same reasons as stated above. I will be going to the International Sportsman's Expo in SLC in March most likely though.

I'll be at the ISE show in Salt Lake as well. I like to take my kids to show them all the taxidermy. I also have a caribou hunt booked this Sept and the outfitter is scheduled to be there.
