As the title states has anybody used this silencer? I’m looking at buying my first silencer to be used for hunting. Will not be used on any AR or rapid fire guns. Want to stay as reasonably light as possible and I like the taper mount design. And I love the price. Anybody have any experience or feedback on it before I use spend my money? Thanks

Here’s the deal...

The silencer world is like any other. You get what you pay for.

But add a 12-16 month wait
And a tax stamp

IMO, buy once cry once. Go TBAC Ultra series.

Not disagreeing but what makes the TBAC better? My suppressor dealer (one man operation) personally owns a ton of suppressors including the TBAC and this Griffin and recommends the Griffin. Is the Griffin lower quality?

Last I read, the Sportsman 300 only has stainless baffles for the first 2. After that, its aluminum baffles. Just one reason for me.

I have a sportsman ultralight. I’m really have itching to compare it to because my only other can is a 22 suppressor.

Is it relatively lightweight? Yes but wouldn’t consider taking it sheep hunting.

How does it affect accuracy? Different for every rifle but always about 1 moa and it’s repeatable.

Is it quiet? Similar to every other suppressor I’ve heard. 300 win mag I’d still wear ear pro at the range. 6.5 Creedmoor is a bit quieter.

Word of caution. All those muzzle devices add up to some serious $$$ if you plan on switching it around on a bunch of rifles.

Only plan to switch it between 2 rifles. Thanks for the first hand experience.
