Anybody just carry an umbrella?

All these tarps for rain and rain gear and such got me curious if anybody just carries a lightweight umbrella and if so how useful you found it. Seems really quick and easy to deploy and put away and lighter than rain gear, could sit and glass under it for shade as well. Thought about it just now when I grabbed one to go feed the quail and collect eggs so I weight it, regular nothing special umbrella it's 7oz.

I've thought about it. Local dollar store has some that are ultra-lite because they are cheapies.

It works until there is wind. I used to laugh when my dad would carry one but now I carry one from time to time. It boils down to how I plan to hunt.

Yes. I only switch to a jacket when below 40° or expecting constant all day rain.
