Anybody else disappointed in the Attack pants pockets?

So i recently got a pair of these...partly through my own research and partly from other reviews on the pants. I like the fit and material, I just do not like the cargo pockets.

The width of these with the zipper is almost impossible to fit anything. I like to stuff my gloves or gaiter when I get warm but I'm concerned at some point I'm going to bust the zipper shoving things in there.

Anybody else feel this way? Any other pants I should look at with better cargo pockets?

I agree with you on the cargo pockets. Also wish the inseam was longer or they'd offer them in a tall size.

I like a full size cargo pocket on the Attack, Guide, Tiburon so these are the only ones I buy. I believe the zippers are unnecessary with the darted top flap. I took a small scissor on my Swiss pocket knife and cut out the zipper behind the teeth. Opens up the top for your hand and doesn't chafe. I don't miss the zipper at all.

I tend to agree that they probably don't need a zipper on them. Id at least like to see a button maybe on the rear instead of a zipper just for a way to secure it if needed.

The cargo pockets don't bother me like the hand pockets do. Could they have made them any smaller? Maybe I just have big hands. I doubt it though they are probably just average like other parts of me like my feet.

The cargo pockets on everything KUIU are relatively flat/snug in my experience. I wish they'd call them accessory pockets..."cargo" sounds like they're made to carry a load. I actually prefer the close/snug dimensions myself. It dissuades me from stuffing them with excess cargo and looking like I have tumors on my thighs.

I'm guessing your waist size is around a 34? My 34 tiburons have small pockets. A friend with the guide pants, size 38 are huge. I may have to cut the zipper too, I have other pants with just a flap and never lost anything.

I agree....I only use them to stuff gloves, beanie or neck gaiter when I get warm. None of that stuff is bulky or cargo but these pockets barely can fit it. They put a small bellow on it to lay flat when not used and expand when needed. Just wonder why they decided a zipper worked there?

They work fine for me. I like the Kuiu Attack size cargo pockets better than the large cargo pockets on the Cabelas Microtex pants.

This is my experience. I like bigger pockets when I have need to pack gear short distances or while sitting in a stand. When hunting actively and moving a lot I don't use cargo pockets for much beyond a small item or something which lays flat in it. Mostly I don't need to get in them except occasionally for nail clips or a small bic lighter...etc. In any event...yes...the pockets are small. I don't suppose the zippers are a big help but they do stop things from dropping out when pants are down or off.

That is exactly my experience. The tiburons are worse (Smaller). The guide pants have the right size (for me) to put a gloved hand in. The attacks are alright as long as I don't have gloves on.

As for the inseam length, you can get them tailored for pretty reasonable price. Or, do what I do, put gaiters on over the excess length and it pretty much solves itself.

I don't like any of the pockets on the Attacks. I can't even get my hands in the front pockets, they just as well not even be there. I've not been overly impressed with the pants in any fashion.
