I have been shopping for a new scope and last night I came across this company called Medan Vision that had some really great prices. Looks like they are from Indonesia and I emailed with some questions but haven't heard back. Seems like really great prices but the old "to good to be true" thing sticks in my head. Just wondering if anyone has heard of them and care to comment before I lay out the money. Thanks

Tough to say if these are counterfeits or what. Some prices seem normal-ish, others way to low to be real.

Cut cost and cut performance. You don't have to run Swaro, Zeiss, or NF. You can get great value from Leupold, Vortex, and many others. Then you can trust your gear in the field.

Spend your money on experience before you spend it on fancy gear.

Last winter retail season, there were a bunch of rogue sites selling snowboards at well below retail and they were all shams and a while bunch of people got taken. As this is still peak hunting retail season, id be suspicious of this site.

I fully understand the need to save a few bucks. However you can cheap yourself out of existence by chasing "bargins". There are lots of good places that sell good optics that have good reputations. There are also lots of good optics that do not cause budgetary stress. I personally would avoid this outfit . That is just my opinion, I have no experience with them, and intend to have none.

Stick with reputable companys and glass. Lots of counterfeit out their do not get burned.

If you want value, look at great buys like the Maven C1 binos, Athlon Ares spotter, etc. something from a reputable company.

medanvision is a scam.
after you pay for your order. they will say it's not enough. and you have to add to your order.
they took me for $391. not much, but if it's too good to be true.
fool me once..........is enough.
