Any weight loss programs for hunters?

Eat less, move more.

If you want to give it a hunting focus, make that “move more” part about hiking with weight and strengthening your legs and back.

Age also plays a role. Back when I was like ~ 30, I could just focus more on heavy compound lifts in the gym (squats, bench, deadlift, OHP, weighted pullups) and in 3-4 weeks my abs would be showing through my shirt.

Take a lot more work now 15 years later.

Don't eat and drink as much and work out.
I think lots of people drink far more calories than they realize. I have a buddy who thinks he’s in “good shape” but clearly isn’t, dosent workout, drinks 4-5 beers every night, more on the weekends and ingests at least 3-5 sodas a day at work.

I moved away from booze about a year ago, I think move had like 2 alcoholic beverages in the last 11 months. When I did that, I slimmed down without making any changes to my diet or workout routine.

I didn’t realize it in the moment but my 38” Lou pants didn’t need a belt to stay on, now I need a belt to keep my 36” pants up. I don’t own escape so no idea, I’m guessing ~ 20lbs or so. Yesterday at work I took off my hoody (which is what I wear 95% of the time) and had half a dozen comments about fitness. Again no significant changes to my workout routine or diet.
