Any Specialty Pistol shooters here?

Any roksliders using SP's? Been doing it for a number of years. Haven't shot any big game at real long range. Just mid range. Longest was 580 yards on an antelope. Second was 576 on a mt. goat.

Hunt with a TC Contender occasionally. Go through waves when I carry it more often but it depends on where/what I'm hunting.

I hunt deer with either 7-30 waters or my SSK 309JDJ. Also have .410 and 22 match.

I used to hunt a lot with a TC Contender .221, .30 Herrett, and .35 Rem and a Wichita 7mm BR. Sold the Wichita and just get the .30 Herrett out occasionally for deer here. I moved to revolvers and haven't used the single shots much over the last few years.

What did you think of the Wichita? I've never seen one in person. Being left handed the xp platform works really well for me

Really nice pistol. Well made and accurate. Mine had a 15" barrel and was topped with a Burris 2-7.

I got it because that is what Bob Milek used. Most folks on here probably don't recall him or Steve Herrett. Selling it is one of my regrets.
