Any JTAC Screech Owl chassis users for feedback??

Looking for a collapsible stock chassis for my varmint rifle. Want to shorten package for hike in (sometimes sowshoes). Will likely put in scabbard of Eberlestock pack. Have looked ta folding options but keep coming back to this one for my purposes. Not a long range shooter or high volume. mainly just some coyote setups. Thanks

Mine just shipped. I could give initial feedback in a week or so. Ordered feb 27th. Later I ordered the folding stock in addition to the collapsible stock, and finally the night vision bridge. But those will be a few more weeks before they ship

I should mention that mine is the elf owl chassis for the mini action. But it should basically be the same except for the magazine setup because it has to use the plastic howa magazines. I believe the screech owl is aics magazine compatible

havent gotten to shoot one but i handled one in a 6 arc build during the sportsmans show. I liked the size, the cheek piece on the collapsible stock was surprisingly usable and comfortable, and the weight was nice. been debating building on one for an SBR. feel like it would disappear in a pack

I have one and I would not want to pack it. It’s heavy but other than that it’s neat. I needed extra high rings. My grip was also really annoying to tighten and it’s still wobbly. I actually stripped out the first screw they gave me but they sent a replacement promptly. For $800 I’d buy something else.

I’ve had one and liked it. I the telescoping stock (pictured above) minimal but very nice and surprisingly adjustable. Solid chassis as far as I am concerned. Kinda been wanting another one since they started machining Arca into the rails.
