Man GPS ,you guys slay em. Must have an extra freezer and use the grill lots. Others have some Purdy trout. In Minnesota walleye is king and other freshwater fish. Some trout . Nothing like offshore ocean stuff. I personally love to hunt, but it's usually a little more " intense " . Fishing is more relaxing .

Nothing wrong with relaxing and fishing, but if you want to add some intensity to your fishing you should hop in a kayak and paddle or peddle (Hobie guy here) a couple miles into the ocean for lingcod and halibut and see a ripped off seal’s head floating by. Wondering if the big guy in the grey suit is still hungry makes things intense!

Yup, got 22 cubic Ft. upright freezer just for fish, Elk, wild pig, and other small game. I can a lot of the tuna and make summer sausage and jerky using elk and pig.

Any Kayak days are way behind me, but that does sound like fun.

Got a local electric only lake that’s given up some good ones this year.

My boy caught a 16 inch crappie this past weekend. We kept 41 over two days. All over 12 inches.

That right there is some great eating. Nice catch young man.
Freezer full of fillets for sure. Just a note though....I had a typo, all the fish were over 12, not 13. Though many were over 13 too....the lake has a 12 inch minimum.
