Ugh... they didn't put the 0.68" taperless in the sale. Maybe if enough people message them, they will add it. I was going to buy a 22CM and a 6CM barrel.

Nice. My 24in.680 taperless 6cm with flutes threaded 9/16 came in at 2lbs 10oz fwiw

looks like ~3.5-5oz saved depending on 16-20" length if I estimated right?

I was gonna go .75" with 5/8-24 threads but now I'm pondering the .68 with 1/2-28 and use an adapter when needed for 5/8-24...

I talked with them about these contours and we decided that fluted .75 will be very similar in weight to nonfluted .68 in short barrels (16” or 18”).

I can certainly see that (and feel it'll be stiffer), it just costs an extra $150 vs the smaller diameter barrel.

Yeah when I talked to them they weren’t doing the sale on .68 yet so it sort of washed out.

I didn’t totally understand the explanation but seemed they’ve had to trash a lot barrels because it’s hard to get it to look good with that diameter.

I could see that. Happy with mine though. Although the seamless tread adapter on the 750 taperless when threaded 5/8 is rly clean

Its included in the chambering cost, atleast its always been that way with all the smiths I've used. Give him a call and talk to him about what your after.
