Defeating Prop 127 in Colorado was a HUGE win last year in Colorado but the anti hunting groups remain relentless. Dan Gates at CRWW gives a good (and scary) overview of where things are at in Colorado.

MAIN POINT; the hunting community must remain a united front. We must stay positive and BELIEVE we can win at all levels of anti hunting legislation. 2026 will be a huge year for Colorado and everyone must be paying attention. CRWM needs support in the way of funding and Dan does a good job of explaining why.

You could start listening around minute 19 or so.

The Legislature and the Governor had huge wins last session on gun control too. We must start really paying attention. There is a petition to stop the wolf stocking being circulated to get enough signatures to get on the 2026 ballot. I had some of the petitions and got signatures and sent them some money too.

If you listen to the podcast the petition to stop wolf reintroduction is counterproductive and Dan discusses why. Start at minute 33:00 to hear about this.

Wanna know how you can help? Donate to CRWM if you are so inclined. They are going to need funding to fight Ballot Initiative 98 in the courts before it makes it to the ballot

The wolf reintroduction was a measure that barely passed and a total mistake as show by the results. Need to stop bringing them in and get the ones brought in outta here. The new petition does nothing about removing the ones stocked, so let natures take it's course. If a hunter, rancher or plinker sees one.....
