Alright guys. Narrowed it down to two. Wife has approved. Am stuck between the following choices. I get mil discounts on both. Puts the Monarch $150 cheaper, lighter, interchangeable eyepieces, made in Japan. Is there really any reason/better glass to go with the Meopro? Just something I’m stuck with at the moment and need some help to push me over the edge. Thanks!

Meopta Meopro HD
Nikon Monarch 82ED

Zach there's a review on here @Justin Crossley did on the monarch. I used this Nikon spotter next a Swarovski on a sheep hunt and was still impressed with it. Pure view quality was excellent only down side was it's hefty in the wieght department and eye relief is a bit touchy at the top end.

I read that one thank you! Also read one on Bird forum and they scored the spotter nearly perfect. Would be nice to add the 30-60W later on. I see it’s a bit hefty but unless specs are off I think the Meopta was listed at 11 oz heavier!

Having had a MeoPro for a very short while, I don't think it was worth the money. Use that same discount to upgrade to the MeoStar S2 and you'll be VERY happy.

Would love to. Absolutely amazing spotter. Just out of range for this year. Could literally buy 2 of the Monarch’s for the S2. After the discounts.
