Another Oregon New Guy

Been in Oregon most my life (except for a 7 year visit to Spokane). Grew up in Medford, now in PDX.
Mostly hunt elk in E. Oregon, but have a dream of hunting a bighorn before I pass on or can't physically do it.
I've been a rokslike lurker for a year and change and Iike the reviews, on all kinds of gear.
Bummed I missed the March Maddness Bracket. I should have signed up earlier.
I'm looking forward to providing input where I can, favorite place will probably be photography and precision rifle.

Welcome! I always wanted to try some hunting in Oregon. My wife is from the coast so some day I will get down there and give it a shot.

GreenOne: Oregon defiantly has good places to hunt. Not sure Oregon has any game animals that are the Best of the breed, but we definitely have quite a few there are very respectful.

Non-game animals though... Nutria... may be the biggest rodent you ever seen.

I'm in a pretty similar boat. Live in PDX but mostly hunt Eastern Oregon with everyone else. Maybe this is the year you'll get your sheep tag! I put in for Deschutes, John Day, or Lookout Mtn. on a regular rotation....fingers crossed for the both of us and we'll meet at the sheep orientation!
