Looking hard at a 26 or 27 goat hunt. Prefer Alaska and a “reasonably” priced outfitter. Give me some suggestions please.

Great guy and outfit. Hunted goats with him a few years back and had an amazing hunt. Will be hunting deer with him in August of 2026.

It will be worth it when you do. Maybe do what I did and give up planning to draw, then end up drawing! LOL

Jason is great people. Great goat hunting in those areas. I say that because I guide the same areas as well! Lol I’ve passed him going up and down the mountain before!
The draw areas on Kodiak are worth the wait.
Dennis Zadra is awesome. Tougher goat country but Dennis is as real a dude as they get. Known him for decades and guided for him as well. Goats were good!

Goat pricing seems to be all over the places to. I’ve seen 13k all the way up to 25k. Not counting the yatch hunts in the 40k range.

I just went through this, Spoke with Cole Cramer and he’s highly reccomended. There’s a lodge on the south end of the island that’s supposedly really good with OTC tags. I ended up booking in BC with Silent Mountain for 2028.

I called several in bc, almost none had openings for 26. Nice thing about bc is there’s no draw.
