Been a lurker for months, finally decided to join because this place is a wealth of information. I live in the foothills of NC, about an hour north of Charlotte. Been an avid deer hunter and trout fisherman my whole life. After years of threatening to go out west and pursue elk, I've finally decided to actually do it in 2016. Dad was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and beat it, but has decided that he's no longer putting off all the things he wants to do, so he's going to go with me, along with my uncle. These two taught me everything I know about hunting. Regardless of whether we kill an elk or not, we are going to have a blast!
Currently I work in the ED in a local hospital, I am finishing up my nursing degree, will graduate in May. I am married and have two beautiful daughters.
Funny that we have two FNG's back to back from NC, even funnier that we are both named Andrew!! What are the odds?
