Amazon tipi tents

Good info glad this thread is still active, I am debating getting one. I would not take it when if it failed I was in danger. That said I really like tipi tents & stove for cold weather.

Thats operator error. I love it when someone screws up and blames it on the product itself....instead of their own stupidity.

Yes this fabric burns and rips easily. When using a stove one needs to make sure; 1) the stove pipe extends a safe distance above the tipi, and 2) you have a screen to catch sparks in the pipe.

It's also a good idea to have some of the tent repair tape handy......When I first started with the Go Lite Tipis a couple decades ago they were 15 Denier. My dog jumped on the outside of the tipi and ripped a 30" long gash in it. The tape fixed it and it held for many years. Best to keep these away from sharp branches.
