Hey Folks,
Apologies for this terrible description. I've seen packers through my jobs at land management agencies using an aluminum shelf type pannier to carry awkward things like blue water jugs, gasoline, small generators etc.... The shape is basically just a piece of aluminum that is bent 90 degrees and has straps to attach it to the pack saddle.
Anyone out there that makes these for sale, I would need to be able to pay them with a credit card? I want to order some for work as we are going to be building a bunch of short bridges the next couple years and being able to prevent fuel and other stuff getting on my personal panniers would be great. I get to volunteer my stock at work, but don't get compensated for any broken gear etc....
I also pack in cubes, square cardboard box with a plastic bladder that holds 5 gallons of water, for replanting projects. and they are kind of a pain to load.
Thanks,
Adam
