Any update/plans to offer these with a DLC coating?
Checking on this again @Salmon River Solutions

Alternatively, I had emailed UM a while back asking if it could be cerakoted. Jake emailed back and said yes. I never got around to ordering it, and now I see there is a red banner on the product page that says it cannot be cerakoted.

The threads can't be cerakoted. It would never thread onto a can... And you can't really mask the OD threads.

We are looking at having a DLC option.

I was just about to order one, as I have a new barrel coming, but this barrel will see decent strings of fire. - placeholder to follow up on dlc, as well.

Thanks!

I have a couple of these. They work great. Couldn't be happier. Shoot the brake enough in the suppressor and you won't need DLC lol

That’s what I’m saying haha.

I get the galling thing, I get it. But, chances of that really happening?.. eh. Turns into a direct thread 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Following this thread as I just had to replace my Banish 30 Gold with the new V2 since my original can yeeted itself downrange...

Not having to pay a gunsmith to time the brake would be nice, and I don't want to run shims. I wonder if an omni directional brake would even improve sound reduction?

The brakes don't do much of anything when its inside the can, But they can potentially extend the suppressors life.

Hey Ken, I would love to see a non timed version of the SRS cb brake for some of my smaller calibers. An plans for anything like that in the future?

I have roughly 500 rounds through one of these brakes and have had no issues removing my can. DLC wouldn’t hurt but I also don’t think it is necessary.

Ken a mount only sounds interesting for additional weight savings on guns rhat won’t be shot without a can!
