The citation of 136K seems to be less than the cost of the investigation itself. Fascinating.

That is if its dropped, ( or heavy impact to the hammer) if its in your hand its pretty damn hard ( all most impossible) to hit that hammer hard enough to fire the weapon. He pulled the trigger no doubt, but why was a live round in the chamber thats really the question.I read elsewhere (and have unsuccessfully tried to verify on the Pietta website) that there are 2 versions of the revolver - one with a transfer bar safety and one without. IMO it would be possible for a gun to fire without pulling the trigger if it did not have a half cock and transfer bar safety. I have a Freedom Arms SA revolver without a TBS and the manual says not to carry it with a loaded chamber under the hammer as a hard impact on the hammer can cause the round to fire.
If you don't hunt, own guns or rent what does a felony keep you from?me thinks that having a felony conviction, regardless of fines or jail time- might be the worst of the possible punishments
Hopefully he will lose his right to vote being a convicted felon, though I know some states have reformed that policy. (I cant imagine he is going to get this reduced to a misdemeanor). How ironic given how outspoken he has been politically, as well as his countless skits on SNL mocking Trumpme thinks that having a felony conviction, regardless of fines or jail time- might be the worst of the possible punishments
It's a max $5000 fine. I'm thinking he's going to do some jail time assuming he's convicted.
The defense will make sure the jury is not full of New Mexican cowboys.Don't you guys think a jury of New Mexican cowboys will convict him? I do.
