Anyone running the Ravus Flex bingo harness? I currently run the regular Ravus pack but I need one that fits the EL range binos. I’d like feedback on how the flex lid works. Is it easy to open and close? Does it keep things protected or any other issues.

I hunted with the Ravis Flex for just over a year. It protected optics well had plenty of molle for webbing accessories on. Open and close was easy and worked great. I will say I hated not having a front pocket sewed to the harness. There is a pocket on the lid but it’s too small to carry anything bigger than a lighter or extra replacement blade. This resulted in the need for an extra wing pocket, that I hate adding.

Overall the harness straps weren’t what I liked. I ended up replacing the straps with an old set from a Vortex glass pack.

I think the harness was great but I ended up landing on the Eberlestock Bravo and haven’t looked back.

I only have one season with Ravus, like it so far. The lid works well, protects and keeps everything where it needs to be. As mentioned above, bigger pockets would be a welcomed feature. I am running Kowa Genisis and they fit well, there is still some room left if you need a bigger pair to fit

I used a ravus flex with EL Range 12x42's this past season with no issues. the lid is a bit thin as it's just the material itself without any additional layers or padding if that is of concern. but i had no issue opening/closing the lid and it is comfortable to wear
