Alaska brown bear season 2026….updated as season progresses!

Last client of the season. Put a black bear in the dirt with his lil 44 mag carbine. Liked it so much he used it on his 8’ plus brown bear!

Well my friends, that’s the end of 2026 spring bear baiting season!
I believe it ended with 25 bears killed. Two wounded and lost.
275 bags of dog food eaten
Over 11,000 miles flown
4 new cylinders on the plane
A handful of 5-hour energy.
Clients were 100 percent on taking shots on bears, only guy that didn’t get his brown bear, had missed one then wounded and lost one.
He will be back next season.

Moose/brown bear in September is next. Filling freezers with salmon and halibut this month and early next. Then prepping for 3 weeks of moose season out west!
