I fly into FAI same day from SLC. Look for the tall guy, I’ll be the avg dad bod guy hanging out w him. We drive North, and kill your Caribou by the 6th.

As I get older I find Im never really surprised at anything anymore. Well, these meals really surprised me. Had one for lunch today. I honestly can't find a negative.

Roasted Chicken and White Cheddar Biscuit Dumplings

Tastes like mom's
Real biscuits/ dumplings in there
Lotta chicken
54g protein wow
1.25 C of water needed
Don't need a long handle utensil to eat it.

This one on par with Peak Biscuits and Gravy. Maybe a little more meat in this one. Like the Peak I think you need two biscuits added to sop up the leftover gravy ( thats what I pack with each one / two biscuits to add)
Overall good taste.

Yeah I think a nice balance to me purchasing one of these 5000$ freeze dryers and making my own.

I just ordered a bunch of Pinnacle dehydrated as well as a bunch of Stowaway gourmet. Everything else is mostly ready for my annual hunt!

Seek Outside Standard XL update. So me complaining about all the parts was not warranted. Used it in the Bighorns this past weekend and after a few times setting it up and tearing down it's fine. Takes longer than my Winnerwell for sure. Glass door front sure is nice and thats the reason I gave it a try. Will be running that stove in a SO Courthouse this year with a Tipi as a gear tent / backup shelter.
