Air Lock Industries Suppressor

@Hurley88 since you have both the OG and the OG65, is there a big difference between those 2? I have the OG and am waiting on the OG65. I am not impressed with the OG at all. I will sell it as soon as I can. "Hearing safe" isn't what I thought it was. That can is flat out loud to me.

The OG 6.5 is what the OG should have been. The OG, as designed, just isn’t good enough in the suppression department. I don’t think they misrepresented the suppression rating, I just don’t think they aimed high enough. As I understand the design process, they got what they thought was “enough suppression” and then focused on other things.

I am not going to sell my OG, because it works well enough for me on my 21” .270 or if I ever get another 22-24” .30 caliber hunting rifle. But the OG 6.5 is a legitimately good suppressor.

Edit - and I also own the ZG 6.5 and give it the slight edge over the OG 6.5 for anyone who only wants to own one .264 caliber hunting can. But to me it’s like a 51-49 vote.

ID-Muley is right, you won’t regret the OG65. It’s much closer to the Airlock than it is to the OG30.

One of my buds who was there for a few of the impromptu tests said that they (the two 6.5 cans) were “essentially the same darn thing, just one is OTB”.
