Ahh Oregon

There is a reason that group is targeting that state, I know they say they don’t expect it to pass but I also wouldn’t be shocked if it did pass in a state dominated by two urban population centers where nobody is connected to the food they eat

Well, it would certainly make hunting easier for the folks who live in the state. If any of you ever wanted to shoot a buck in velvet, that’ll be your chance.

This state full of retarded people. I live in a bubble though. Surrounded by rainbows and unicorns. I live in the greatest spot in the US if you like shooting, trapping, digging, catching delicious eats. From mushrooms to elk, tuna to grouse, Dungeness crab to razor clams. All inside a 15 mile radius of my house. I don’t watch the news and only go to Portland for a phenomenal knee doctor and to the airport. I have 2 kids that live in Portland for 12 years. I’ve never been to there houses.
They visit plenty to the beach.
Politics don’t affect me at all. Nothing that comes out the capital has any bearing on my life. I hunt or fish 310 days a year.
This would either turn me into an outlaw or a guy who rents a big moving truck.
Fortunately(un?) this state has a high percentage of democrats who hunt and fish and farmers. It won’t pass. Just feel good legislation for 20% of the voting population.

How do you know if there’s a vegan at your party? They stand by the BBQ with a sign saying BURGER IS MURDER!!

Whatever happened to the near complete ban of all firearms that made it to the ballot and passed?
Was argued at the OR Supreme Court a month or two back. The attorney arguing against it did a very good job and said to expect a decision in 4-9 months iirc. My guess is they will engage in tortured logic to uphold the law. The Oregon constitution and historical precedent's, by any fair reading I’ve seen, should lead to the law being mostly if not fully ruled unconstitutional in OR. We’ll see if their hate of guns trumps the state constitution.

Oregon really is incredible. Unfortunately, politics very much play a role for many folks...particularly those of us running businesses and raising young children.

I loved WA state for all the same reasons you mentioned...but still had no other choice but to roll up camp and head East.

Everyone has a breaking point, and stupidity like the bill OP posted would certainly be one for a lotta fellas

Yup. Well I dont do any of that coastie stuff, but everything else is spot on!

Haven't they been trying to push this thing through for quite some time now? Seems I remember hearing about this before

This is what we are up against. I expect something similar in Colorado in the near future based on the path we are on. These people will never stop.
