Tired searching, but have not seen a comparison of these 3 flame annealers. Anybody have a recommendation or which one to avoid? I’m not ready nor can justify an induction annealer. The new version of Burstfire seems pretty legit. I like the idea of putting a batch of brass and letting the machine do its thing. For those of you with the AGS, is it annoying to have to load each shell individually?

I’m new to reloading, but am realizing that the extra money in time saving tools is worth it.

I've never annealed in my life and all my stuff shoots great.
Me too, but I’d like to keep my brass going as long as possible.

Get an Annie annealer and lose the flame,,,,,,induction is the ticket
Maybe you missed that part in my post. I don’t want to spend $600-$2500 for induction. Under $300 is where I want to stay. Other than that I’d just stick to buying more brass

I have the AGS and it works well. I can say that wearing fireproof gloves is a lesson learned as the flame is close to where you are loading the follow on cases. I have some nomex gloves that protect me, but that is something to consider. It s probably more hands on than the others, but can go through a 100 pieces in about 20-30 min. If you were doing large sets the others might have a leg up.

Dont discount the amazon special home built induction annealers.
I bought a "hot rod" solary induction annealer and a digital timer.
Total cost under 200 bucks. Under 3 seconds anneal time per peice of brass.
Some basic circuitry knowledge is required to set it all up.

Its single feed but the fast anneal time somewhat makes up for it.

A good summary (not mine) of the overall setup.

I took apart the back end of the induction heater and wired up the fan so that its turned on all the time and not just when the heating element is switched on by the digital timer.

I have the Ugly Annealer, and have been very pleased with it. No way would I use a machine where each piece has to be loaded individually

Not to make things more difficult, but I have an EP Integrations annealer that I’ve been happy with. Doesn’t need multiple plates etc, you just adjust the spacing for your cartridge and go. It’s around your price range. The only downside is that it’s single feed
