I wish I could justify let alone afford an AMP annealer but I just can not. Not even a used model. So that leaves me what I can afford. In my price range its a choice between the Anneeleze machine or the Ugly Anneeler machine. If you were I which would you choose and why,
I only need to anneal 300wsm, 338wm, 308win, 35 Remington brass. As my load development is complete for all I only need anneal around 100 brass each at a sitting.

I'm in no rush to buy and plan on researching pros/cons of each machine but first hand experiences with both and if possible, recommendations of which to buy if I can get them is of course invaluable. My absolute mane reason for buying an annealer is to get the maximum reloads per piece of brass possible more than maximum accuracy as:
#1- I have pricy SSS Lapua and ADG brass
#2- Brass for 35 Remington and 300wsm can be at times hard to find, 35 Remington at times is non existent

My only public land legal cartridge is 450BM, a straight wall cartridge, but I hunt my private grounds with 35 Remington and 308win.

I have the AMP and the Aneeleze. Get the Aneeleze . Unless you're shooting crickets past 600 yards... then get the Aneeleze and modify it.

I left a lengthy review on their site Jan 2025 if you want to read the modifications. Otherwise i can post it here with pics....
I would love to see the pictures. I have the older version as was looking at the amp or similar because I am tired of stuck cases in the wheels. If I can get away with $300 instead of $1500 that would be great. Thanks.

I have had good luck with my Annealeez. Mine is the older generation with plastic wheels that do get a little melty if you don't set the torch properly. If you are only doing 100 cases at at time it will probably take you longer to get the flame set where you want it then it will to run the batch lol.

One thing I have done is I sacrifice about 20 cases or use 20 cases from the range pickup bucket. I use those cases to aim and get my flame/wheel speeds set how I want. Then I run my batch of brass. I just keep reusing those cases so that I don't cook one of my good pieces to death and so that I know my whole batch is more consistent.

Great idea! Thanks
