I’ll say he’s 11

after I get to 10 years old I would just be guessing his age. I can’t see those annuli, but I can guess where they would be.

1. How old is he according to the biologists?

2. Am I seeing a false annuli in the year 4 growth?

I'd actually be curious what people age this ram at (forgive the photo quality). First ram I put my scope on a number of years ago, sat on him for 24 hours and eventually passed on him.

There are some cheater ways to count rings year 4 is just longer than it is wide, and year 5 is just shorter than it is wide.

Im going to say least 6 but probably 7. I can’t tell if there is another ring close to the hairline or not.
