@S-3 ranch. Yours in post 4 looks smooth to me. Very hard to distinguish annuli.

I’ll say he’s 11

after I get to 10 years old I would just be guessing his age. I can’t see those annuli, but I can guess where they would be.

1. How old is he according to the biologists?

2. Am I seeing a false annuli in the year 4 growth?
