This is what I would recommend from a metallurgical perspective. The titanium can should have a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the steel brake. So, when put into the freezer, the steel should shrink more than the titanium.You're supposed to loktite the break to the rifle not the break to the can! Kidding.
Happened to mine before I locktighted the brake to the rifle. Stick it in the freezer for an hour or so and then try again. Worked for me.
Heating them up by shooting probably has the opposite effect, although the thickness of the material makes a difference too.
