Congrats on the Tikka! My dad bought one in fall of 18 and liked his so much I got one too in 6.5cm for this last deer season. Now Im looking to maybe adding a 300 winny in stainlessI'd like to thank everyone on their input, it made shopping a bit easier when it came down to final decision time. I'm now obsessing over optics choices lol. View attachment 145095View attachment 145096View attachment 145097

I think my next rifle will be a bigger caliber, perhaps a .375 H&H

Tikka 6.5 creed. To me this is the default answer to a guy who has to ask.
You’re late to the party, and I didn’t have to ask.

+1. My 14 year old daughter handles hers like a champ. She's 5'6 and 110 pounds. Shots from 90 to 175. She called her hit this year before coming out of the scope. That's in a 70 featherweight.270 WSM isn't really a magnum. If you'd be OK with 30-06 you'd be OK with 270 WSM.
