Good deal, I think that’s not bad at all then.So right now I KB wise I have 2 20s, 1 35, 1 43, 1 52. DB wise I have 2 20 and 1 30. I wanted some heavier options to continue to work towards building some muscle as lifting weights overall is just something I've never really done at all and it's time to push myself. I don't really have space for any more hence my thought to get adjustables. Based on youtube videos I've seen I agree on the KB side so I'm abandoning the idea of adjustable KBs.
One night when I get time I'm going to attack the closet and see if I can make space for 1 more KB and go for a 70 pounder.
Since you have 2x 20 pound dumbbells, I’d maybe sell or donate the two 20 pound KBs and use that money and space for a second 35, or for the 70. A second KB in a manageable weight is great for muscle building. Double C&J or double clean and press ladders were great for me. The 70 can also be a game changer for strength though. Owning the next heavier KB seems to automatically move some of the self imposed strength limits I previously had.
I’m sure you’ve researched it all, but definitely look at Dan John, Pavel, and Geoff Neuperts KB stuff. Lots of bang for your buck when it comes to KBs. So many good options to program strength, muscle, and conditioning all in a few simple tools.
Best of luck to you!!
