From US's description:

"Up to .750” diameter barrels (tapers to 0.830 inches at bottom)"

What is the largest OD for an adapter to be used with the OG 6.5? I've not run reflex before so it's new to me. I'm going from M15x1 and have an adapter but need to verify it isn't to large.

After measuring, it looks like the adapter included with the rifle is ~.8" from diagonal ridge to ridge formed by the flats. Options:

1. Wait and "gently" try it.
2. Grind ridges from flats.
3. Search for/order a smaller adaptor
4. Send to be cut/threaded...probably needs shoulder added...

FYI, if you use an adapter other than the one U.S. sells and it gets stuck in the suppressor there will be no good way to remove it due to it being stuck in a tube. If you find one that will work, make sure to Rockset (Loctite for suppressors) to the barrel before threading on the suppressor. Regular Loctite will not work as it melts with heat. Rockset is release with water and only gets stronger with heat and getting drier. I'd talk to U.S. and SRS to see if there is a solution already in place for your situation.

Yep, the thoughts on getting stuck were my reason for posting here. If they had a M15x1 adapter/tool in their store I'd have already ordered it. There's probably not much of a demand for it though. I should probably go ahead and ship it off to trim/thread/shoulder but I hate shipping things off.

I'll probably order their 1/2" adapter/tool for use on another. I've got a 6 and a 6.5 in the que...probably should have put 1 foot in to test the OTB water rather than jumping in with both.

If I were in your shoes I'd spend the sub$100 to just rethread it to 1/2". I've seen guys permanently efff barrels and/or muzzle devices trying to jump through hoops making less popular things work wasting dollars and time.

I'd take a good look at the UM adapter removal tool and see if there is a way to DIY the adapter you have to make it removable. File those ridges down and press on!
