AB Raptor 8 Evaluation

I will post more about the reason for the three different events as time permits. For now, the information that I have:





308 win, 20” barrel, M118 LR:

Averaged 133.1 dBA SE-




Control TBAC UL7 Gen 2 averaged 131.3 dBA SE





6.5cm, 20” barrel, Hornady 140gr:

The battery on the glasses died and did not record the film from the AB with the 6.5 and the 7PRC with the TBAC the first day. This is the video I have from the second day, and it has the US OG65 for the comparison. I will post this here, but will redo the AB on the 6.5cm and 7 PRC with the TBAC UL7 as the control.

AB averaged 132.6 dBA-



US OG65 averaged 130.1 dBA-




7 PRC, 20” barrel, Hornady 160gr CX:


90 round stress:

No structural damage whatsoever. Light baffle erosion.
