I think it says a lot when someone will turn down a free week of shooting, lodging and food included, combined with the right to prove someone they always disagree with wrong.

There’s a whole group of guys here who will argue every thread, yet never show up or send in their scopes or anything of the like.

Ironically, then they post threads about how to decipher truth and combat toxicity on internet forums.

You can’t make this stuff up. All hat and no cattle, I suppose. Easier to toss ‘em on ignore.

My issue with form isn’t that he’s “wrong” about anything in particular, it’s how he treats people. If someone has a different opinion or experience, he goes on the attack, trying to prove he’s right, usually through passive aggressive comments such as “have you been drinking” or questioning if someone has the experience to make a claim that doesn’t coincide with his opinions.

I believe form has some useful knowledge, but it gets lost on me, and many others, with the way he argues with others.

I personally wouldn’t waste a week of vacation to prove someone from the internet wrong.

Every time a disbeliever gets called out they have to jump through hoops. It’s always send your stuff, travel here, etc. It’s pretty inconvenient to travel 500+ miles and take vacation, just to prove someone on the internet wrong. Especially if your stuff works for you.

I’ve never seen “hey I’ll swing by whenever you have time. You should invite all your non believer buddies also.” Maybe that’s been offered but I’ve never seen it posted.

If someone is wanting to go to a shooting class sweet. If not than it’s “only proving someone wrong”

My personal perspective is my time off is more important than money. If a shooting class wasn’t on my radar it still wouldn’t be if offered for free.

I'll post a separate thread if I am able to get a range day with those guys and get to the bottom of the issue. They beat the snot out of their guns so i wouldn't be surprised if they sounded like a couple maracas.
