Same price and with the shims I can make both fit me well enough so I'll look at the features, ceracote and extended chokes tubes from factory are positives to the A5 that would put it ahead of the SX3 assuming both are the same price and condition. The polymer takedown case of the A5 while not a make or break item is a nice touch as well. You're kind of comparing an upper mid range semi to a flagship semi from the same conglomerate.

I haven't had a great experience with the A5 wicked wings (one of my least favorite purchases) and I know several SX3 that have thousands of rounds through them. easy call for the SX3.

My SX3 is about 10 years old now. It's hunted saltwater every year of its life, and it continues to EAT regardless of conditions. This can mean typical duck hunting weather all the way to -20 degree winter ptarmigan hunts. You will not be disapointed.

I have at least 4000 rounds through my 10 year old SX3 hunted in saltwater for all 10. Never and I mean never a FTF or stove pipe or a hiccup of any kind. Thing shoots the lightest loads to 3.5s all day no prob.

That being said, the gun is currently at WINCHESTER and they are stripping the Dura touch off and redoing the Camo dip at their expense (look up dura touch class action law suit) a few guys here on Rokslide have had their guns done and said they got a complete cleaning and a new camo dip and said that WIN. did a stellar job. gun is like brand new. So the only issue with the SX4 in my experience is that dura touch. and it wasn't really all that bad.

The SX3 is actually cerakoted and hydrodipped stock.

The A5 now that I look isnt the wicked wings version. Its just a camo model. Looks like it has more use.
