A project to make my Hoyt faster to tune

Little project I tried and really like the results of. I love the pse shim system on my Mach 34.

I found a .stl file for the pse ez220 shims with a .01 spacer instead of the stock pse .02 (thank you for making these if you read this).

I found that they fit pretty much all bows with a 1/4” axle. The Hoyt I have (ax2 32) tuned pretty close with the stock silver washers, but it wasn’t perfect.

Hoyt uses .200 between the limbs (not including the cam), so it’s just a matter of finding the amount you want the cam to be from the left limb, then matching by it with the proper spacer to get the .200 total.

After I printed off the 21 shim set, I numbered them from 1 (thickest) to 21 (thinnest)

First tear was with a 12 on the left, second tear was a 16 on the left - so I moved the cam to the left .04”

I’m wondering how well they will hold up once it gets cold. I guess for the most part they just hold the cam so there won’t be much torque to damage them.
