A neat way to thaw meat

I have an aluminum flat plate and grill on the other side that I use to defrost meat.
The wife is always amazed on how fast it defrost things.
 
I set mine on the granite counter with a small fan blowing on it , works great . Better than a sink full of water .
 
Sous vide my friends. Vacuum pack you meat, pull it from the freezer, straight into tub and start cooking.
For 24 hours ? LOL , I'll stay the course . I can thaw a steak with a fan and have it cooked in under two hours on the charcoal grill , the way man is meant to cook ! 😉

This. I'll also throw it on the cooking grates so the air just naturally moves around it.

Heating meat in plastic is playing with fire.

Dammit , I missed that part , 😁 , it's from my Evelyn Wood Speed reading classes fault , I sped right by it in my hurry to post ! Typical me , .....
 
I will have to try this. Sealed packages in water works well but you can't do that with meat wrapped in freezer paper.
